Stoke V MU 9/9/17
Analysing further, I believe Mourinho had placed Miki in a position he did not do well – right wing. He is best suited in the No. 10 role. I would shift Rashford to the right wing and deploy Martial on the left flank. However, it is good that Lukaku scored again. Mourinho did that eventually, nevertheless, it was too late then. Both Butland and De Gea had made great saves is one of the key reasons why the 2 clubs had to share the points.
No matter what I do hope our team have better luck next week facing Basel at Old Trafford on Tuesday, then Everton on the weekend.

Both Manchester clubs top the chart, while MU leads the pack due to goal difference. MCity defeated the 10-men Liverpool 5:0. Sadio Mane sent off due to dangerous act against Ederson (MCity’s goalie).

Support Mourinho

As predicted, Spurs beat MU by 2:1 at the last ever match in White Hart Lane yesterday. MU has 2 more EPL matches to go before they have to play against Ajax in Sweden on May 24, they are Southampton (May 17, this Wednesday and Crystal Palace May 21, this Sunday). I am amazed how a manager can juggle with only 14,15 players (including those U21, U23 reserves) in EPL and European matches in the same week, including a Cup final. Mourinho already pre-empted openly that he may be compulsory to despatch Nicky Butt’s U23 team to play the last match against Crystal Palace, just 2 days before the Stockholm final. Many pundits including Roy Keane got up and criticised unfeelingly against Mourinho for choosing Europa League instead of EPL, which they believed to be an easier path for MU. Let me explain: Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal do not have to compete in Europe as they had been eliminated in the early stages. MU is the only English clubs this season still competing for an European trophy. MU hadto play in Russia, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Sweden, Holland before the final in Sweden next Wednesday. Some of the pitch condition were terrible, such as the one in Ukraine and Russia, not to mention enduring the political risk in Turkey. In addition, without earning a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League, would mean pay cut for all MU staff and players next season. Moreover, if choosing the EPL path, they would need a full team to play 4-5 matches while they only a stronger side for maximum 2 matches if they choose the Europa path.
That is why I am angry at these pundits, particularly Roy Keane who never have any successful coaching experience in his life making false accusation against Mourinho and MU. Shame on him. It is just not fair all MU players and manager
