We did not win last night, but it was a fine draw. Stoke has been a tough nut to crack since Fergie retired. I figure Hughes had found MU’s weakness – the centre back and left back. Jones failed to block the cross while Baille fell due to an earlier injury, which resulted in Stock’s opening goal. Again, Jones fell during a set piece by Stoke which gave space for Eric Chupo-Mouting, the centre forward from Cameroon, to head in the equaliser.

Analysing further, I believe Mourinho had placed Miki in a position he did not do well – right wing. He is best suited in the No. 10 role. I would shift Rashford to the right wing and deploy Martial on the left flank. However, it is good that Lukaku scored again. Mourinho did that eventually, nevertheless, it was too late then. Both Butland and De Gea had made great saves is one of the key reasons why the 2 clubs had to share the points.

No matter what I do hope our team have better luck next week facing Basel at Old Trafford on Tuesday, then Everton on the weekend.

Both Manchester clubs top the chart, while MU leads the pack due to goal difference. MCity defeated the 10-men Liverpool 5:0. Sadio Mane sent off due to dangerous act against Ederson (MCity’s goalie).
